Our seller ID is feralcatwelfare10 - you can search for this in the 'advanced search' section and add us as a favourite seller.  You can also help us if you sell your own items on eBay and would like to donate a percentage, please see instructions below.

Donate to Feral Cat Welfare by selling items on eBay!

You as an eBay seller can donate 10%-100% to Feral Cat Welfare whenever you sell an item (there is a £1 minimum donation per listing). It's the perfect way to make a difference - whether you're an individual or a big business.

It benefits both you and us

When you're selling, the real beauty of eBay for Charity is that there's something for everyone - yourself included. You decide exactly what percentage of your final selling price you'd like to give to Feral Cat Welfare (that's us sorted), and what percentage you'd like for yourself (that's you sorted). Plus, people are more likely to bid on your item if it is supporting a charity.

Every time you list an item for Feral Cat Welfare, you'll get a fee credit on your basic insertion and final value fees equal to the percentage you donate. So if you donate 50% of your selling price to us, eBay will waive 50% of your fees.

How to do it

Once you're ready to sell your item, go to the Sell hub and select 'Advanced Sell'. As you're filling out the details, look out for the charity box just below where you set your price. Choose to support Feral Cat Welfare and the percentage (10%-100%) of your final selling price that you'd like to donate to us. Three weeks after your item sells, MissionFish (eBay's charity partner) will automatically collect the donation from you. You can also manage your donations through the 'My Donations' section of My eBay, under the My Account tab. Any fee credits will appear on your next invoice.

Don't forget Gift Aid

Gift Aid is one of the easiest ways to make your donation tax effective. Using Gift Aid means that for every pound you give, Feral Cat Welfare will receive an extra 25p from the government. Simply tick the Gift Aid box when you first list an item for us (provided you pay more in UK income or capital gains tax than you're asking us to claim back in each tax year). MissionFish will collect the Gift Aid from the government and pass it on to ourselves.

What your listing will look like

eBay for Charity listings are the same as any other eBay listing, except for the blue adn yellow eBay for Charity ribbon  in search results and your chosen charity's mission statement and logo in your listing.  This means your listing can be seen by everyone who searches through eBay.co.uk.  It'll also get extra visibility through the eBay for Charity pages.

If you have any queries about this please email our volunteer who will try to respond as soon as possible: fcw2011@hotmail.co.uk

Items we need

We will always need DVDs, CDs, Wii and PC games and other items to sell on this site. If you have any to donate and live in the Leeds and surrounding areas, we may be able to collect.
Saving funds by using recycled jiffy bags and packaging
We also cut our postage costs by using recycled jiffy bags (this means more money can be spent on the cats and our neutering campaigns) so if you have a store of them (any office workers out there who can help?!) then please let us know or send them to our PO box address.

THANK YOU!
